Carissa Wilkinson


Carissa Wilkinson is an educator with an eclectic background. Her professional experiences range from teaching kindergarten, intervention, elementary music, and beginning band. Her educational leadership experiences include instructional coach, assessment coordinator, professional development coordinator & grant coordinator.
 
Carissa is passionate about sparking and supporting learning for all. Arts integration, Cultural Diversity, Data-Driven Instruction, & Discipline Literacy centered around whole-child education is what drives her to learn more. She graduated with a B.S. in Music Education and a M.A. in Educational Leadership.

Carissa is excited to share her knowledge on various perspectives of learning (through an art focused lens) and how assessment can be used to help teachers design focused, data-driven, and authentic instruction to improve student learning.
