Carissa Wilkinson graduated from the University of Mary with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education. She attended the University of North Dakota and earned her Master’s in Educational Leadership. Carissa began her career as a Kindergarten teacher and has had various roles throughout education; Music teacher, band director, reading interventionist, Physical Education teacher, and Professional Development Coordinator. She is currently the assessment coordinator for Mapleton School District.
Carissa is passionate about arts integrated learning and data-driven instruction. She is excited to share her knowledge on various perspectives of learning (through an art focused leans) and how assessment can be used to help teachers design focused, data-driven, and authentic instruction to improve student learning.
