Melinda Younger


Contact Melinda

Melinda holds a BA in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Colorado, and a master's degree in Diverse Learner Education from the University of Phoenix. She spent 40 years working as an educator, including many years also teaching postgraduate courses, before retiring from Adams 12 School District in 2013.

In 2014, Melinda co-founded The Educator's Place with her daughter-in-law Staci. As an instructor at The Educator's Place, Melinda brings a wealth of educational experience and knowledge to the table. During her career in education she held a variety of positions including: preschool director, private tutor, teacher of grades 2-6, and teacher of gifted students. Melinda also has extensive experience working with students with executive functioning difficulties at the secondary and college level.

She is a proud mother of four children and grandmother of two grandchildren, who she delights in every day. Her hobbies include reading, bicycling, napping, and exploring everything that life has to offer.
