CLDE 503 - Content Instruction for EL Learners

Course Description:

This course is designed to provide students with models of content area instruction for second language learners both in the U.S. and internationally and ensures that they can implement these strategies effectively in K-12 classrooms. Students will develop an understanding of the factors that influence classroom pedagogical decisions for second language learners. Students will also have the opportunity to implement practices and dialogue with one another to develop a deeper understanding of teaching English across the content areas.
