Designing High Quality K-3 Reading Instruction

Course Description:

This online course is designed to support K-3 educators to plan, and deliver effective literacy instruction tailored to each student’s needs. Educators will learn about every aspect of the beginning reading program including: phonological awareness, word recognition, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. This course will serve as a road map for a coordinated approach to assessment and instruction while keeping focus on the diverse needs of young learners.
