This course is designed to provide teachers with an understanding how ADHD/ADD and executive dysfunction affects students. The needs of twice-exceptional students will be explored. Additionally, Section 504 of the Americans with Disabilities Act will be explained. This course will provide effective techniques, strategies, and interventions for teachers to use in their classroom and school environment. This course is targeted for K-12 classroom teachers, specialist programs including special education, literacy, gifted/talented, instructional coaches and administrators.
