Building Character in the Classroom to Ensure Student Success

Course Description:

This online course is designed to provide teachers with a way of understanding the importance of character education. Teachers will learn: current findings in brain research, and how to help children thrive by teaching them life skills such as grit, curiosity, and persistence. This course will offer a compilation of strategies that teachers can implement to help educators nurture the character traits that foster success. This online course is targeted for K-12 classroom teachers, specialist programs including special education, literacy, and gifted and talented, and instructional coaches and principals.
