Linking Music and Literacy in the Diverse Classroom

This course is designed to provide educators with an opportunity to support a diverse population of students in the general classroom and music classroom settings (including but not limited to; cultural linguistic & diverse, individual education plan, 504, etc).

Educators will learn research- based, concrete strategies, tools and structures to support classroom practices connecting music to language and literacy.  Educators will learn by working through the process of restructuring lesson plans focusing on text reading, musical decoding, comprehension and literacy connections.
