Beyond the Notes: Social Emotional Wellness in the Music Classroom

This course is designed to provide educators with an opportunity to support a diverse population of students in the general classroom and music classroom settings (including but not limited to; cultural linguistic & diverse, individual education plan, 504, etc).

Educators will learn research- based, concrete strategies, tools and structures to support Social Emotional Wellness and Bully Prevention practices in the classroom utilizing language, literacy and music. 

Educators will learn by working through the process of restructuring lesson plans focusing on social emotional wellness, self-awareness, and community building in all K-12 classroom settings.
